Meet me

Hi! I am a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Brown University, where I research computational wrist biomechanics in Dr. Vikas Srivastava’s lab. I also serve as Education Chair of Brown’s Graduate Student Council and as a Teaching Assistant for the Engineering Capstone course and the 3D Vision Lab.

Previously, I studied Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, conducting research in computational biology and engineering education. Alongside my research, I served as President of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), founded BioeHub, taught in the Engineering Seminar program, and worked as a Data Scientist at Abbott.

Working on developing computational models for wrist biomechanics to understand the movement and positioning of carpal bones.

Graduate Teaching Assistant & Grader

Brown University, 3D Vision Lab and Engineering Capstopne

Taught and graded across four engineering courses, CPSY 1591, ENGN 1001, ENGN 1000, ENGN 0090, supporting student learning in instrumentation and design.
Supported students in ideating, debugging, and carrying out their independent research projects related to 3D vision perception.
Configured a haploscope for stereovision experimentation in order to measure depth perception, texture, shape, shading, etc.
Facilitate office hours, guide 20+ students in engineering design for capstone, promote teamwork and data-driven problem-solving.

Eleven-month internship applying data science methods within this global healthcare company.
Analyzed bioinformatics datasets using Python and Power BI to improve and optimize Abbott Nutrition R&D products and development and performance metrics under GMP compliance frameworks for Abbott Nutrition products.
Developed AI chatbot and predictive model for supply chain optimization, improving efficiency & cross-functional data integration.

Undergraduate Research Assistant, CISL Group

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Analyzed 80+ biological samples using Zeiss microscopy and MATLAB imaging for quantitative bioinformatics analysis.
Developed a VGG-based machine learning model for biomedical image annotation, segmentation, and differentiation projection, improving the efficiency of data analysis, and mentored underclassmen in data workflows and imaging techniques.

Detected cancer cells in tumor-induced mice by performing cell subcultures and synthesizing gold nanorod particles.
Designed photoacoustic and ultrasound molecular imaging systems by integrating nanoparticle contrast agents and acoustic reporter genes with mechanophores and photoacoustic imaging for finding cell viability in anaerobic environment.
Developed injectable nanoscale mechanophore particles with ultrasound sensitivity in HIFU which generates ROS.
